Ulupınar

A village of trout restaurants along the stream formed by an ice-cold spring bursting from the rocks, on the Kemer–Olympos road. The most practical cool-down break in the area during the summer heat.

Ulupınar takes its name from the powerful spring that bursts out between the rocks ('pınar' means spring). The stream born from it runs through dense forest and drops in a small waterfall. Because the water stays ice-cold all year, the valley is noticeably cooler than the coast.

The restaurants lining the stream have set their tables directly over the water. The menu centres on trout raised in their own pools, served alongside gözleme, village breakfast and seasonal mezes. Water running under the tables beats air conditioning on a summer afternoon.

The village sits on the D400 between Kemer and Olympos, close to where the road up to Yanartaş begins. Most visitors therefore add it to a Çıralı–Yanartaş route as a lunch stop. The valley lies on the edge of Olympos Beydağları National Park, with short forest walking paths around it.
