Tahtalı Dağı Teleferiği (Olympos)
Running from Kemer to the 2,365-metre summit of Mount Tahtalı, this is one of the world's longest single-span cable cars. From the top you see the Mediterranean coastline, the Beydağları and, on clear days, as far as Kaş.
Known in antiquity as Olympos, Mount Tahtalı is the highest peak of the Beydağları and rises almost directly from the sea. The ride therefore takes only ten minutes yet shows a striking change in vegetation: the pine forest at the lower station gives way first to cedars and junipers, then to bare rock and snow near the summit.
At the top there is a wide viewing terrace, a restaurant and a café. In clear weather the view spans the Gulf of Antalya to the east and the direction of Finike to the west. Snow at the summit while the coast sits at 15°C is one of Antalya's most-told contrasts — you can see both in a single day.
The summit is also a world-renowned launch point for paragliding; watching the canopies drift below is a pleasure in itself. A stage of the Lycian Way passes through, so walkers often ride up and hike down.
